BREAKING: “Of couʀse I won”-Caitlin Clark exclaims proudly as she dominates her teammates in thᴇ latest Fever challenge.

If there’s one thing that separates Caitlin Clark from other rookies, it’s her confidence. The WNBA rookie showed off this trait as well as her competitive nature after the Indiana Fever’s home run derby during the WNBA’s Olympic break.

Clark, who wasn’t selected on Team USA for the Paris Olympics, made the most of her free time and took part in some fun competitions with her teammates.

“Today we had a home run derby, of course I won,” Clark said with a smile. “It’s just little fun competitions that are outside of basketball where you can just let loose and have fun and compete against your teammates.”

The Fever seemingly struck gold in drafting Clark, who averaged 17.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists across 26 games in the first half of the season.

Additionally, she earned her first All-Star Game selection as a rookie.

Caitlin Clark was competitive even during the team’s scavenger hunt

The competitive nature that Caitlin Clark has doesn’t seem to fade away when she’s not playing basketball. The team had a scavenger hunt and was separated into groups. Clark quickly took command of her group and expressed her desire to win.

“I need points, I need to win,” Clark said. “I got last [place] last week by a mile.”

The goal for each group was to find all the clues and be the first to return to Salesforce Court. Clark’s team was quick on their feet and arrived on the court first, securing the win. The rookie then engaged in some trash talk.

“How’s it feel to lose?” she taunted.

The Indian Fever return to action on Aug. 17 against the Phoenix Mercury.
