Stephen Curry carefully cleans the 2022 NBA Championship Ring
On Sunday night, the Toronto Raptors went to the Chase Center to play the Golden State Warriors.
It was the first time Raptors forward Otto Porter Jr. had been back to the Bay Area since 2022, when he won a title with the Warriors.
So, Golden State gave the 30-year-old a title ring that had been in the works for a long time before Sunday’s game in a nice gesture at center court.
Stephen Curry met Porter in the middle of the arena and showed him the championship ring. It had been almost two years since the team won the title by beating the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals in 2022. Porter, on the other hand, didn’t seem to mind the long wait; he had a big smile on his face the whole time.

Porter has lived in Toronto for the last two years since leaving the Warriors at the end of the 22nd season. He played in just eight games last year, and the Raptors couldn’t bring him with them when they went to the Bay Area.
The Warriors didn’t want to mail Porter the ring, so they kept it until he got back to the Chase Center, even though it took a little longer.
Porter played 19.5 minutes a game on average while Golden State won the championship in 22. He scored 5.4 points, grabbed 3.4 rebounds, and gave out 1.8 assists per game.
